Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of glycolic acid peels combined with large light spot low energy Q switch Nd∶YAG laser in the treatment of chloasma. Methods A total of 72 patients with chloasma admitted to our hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 36 patients in each group. The control group was treated with large light spot low energy Q switch Nd∶YAG laser, and the observation group was treated with glycolic acid peels combined with large light spot low energy Q switch Nd∶YAG laser. The clinical efficacy, psychological state and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Result The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.44%, which was higher than 75.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Glycolic acid peels combined with large light spot low energy Q switch Nd∶YAG laser is effective in the treatment of chloasma, which can effectively improve the psychological state of patients and improve their quality of life.
