Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of intensive pulsed light combined with holistic skin care in patients with facial sensitive skin. Methods A total of 40 patients with facial sensitive skin admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 20 patients in each group. The control group was treated with intensive pulsed light, and the observation group was treated with intensive pulsed light combined with holistic skin care. The clinical efficacy, skin barrier index, adverse reactions and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group w as 90.00%, which was higher than 70.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The transcutaneous water loss barrier (TEWL), stratum corneum water content and skin erythema in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion Intensive pulsed light combined with holistic skin care is effective for patients with facial sensitive skin, which can effectively improve the skin condition of patients, and has high safety and patient satisfaction. Thus, it can be used as a new method for clinical treatment of sensitive skin.
