Abstract:Objective To study the application value of penoplasty with penile frenulum lengthening for concealed penis in children. Methods Sixty children with concealed penis admitted to Fengdu County People's Hospital of Chongqing from November 2020 to November 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 30 children in ea ch group. The control group was treated with degloving fixation, and the observation group was treated with penoplasty with penile frenulum lengthening. The clinical effect, surgical index, average length of exposed penis, pain score and complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the observation group and the control group (P >0.05). The operation time, intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization time of the observation group were less than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the average length of exposed penis and pain score in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%, which was lower than 23.33% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The treatment of concealed penis in children with penoplasty with penile frenulum lengthening is effective, which can reduce the operation time, intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization time, relieve the pain of children, and prolong the length of exposed penis, with higher clinical application value.
