Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of disposable circumcision suture device (DCSD)+comprehensive nursing and traditional circumcision (referred to as traditional surgery)+routine nursing in patients with redundant prepuce. Methods A total of 30 patients with redundant prepuce admitted to our hospital from July 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 15 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional surgery+routine nursing, and the observation group was treated with DCSD surgery+comprehensive nursing. The operation time, incision healing time, postoperative dressing change times, nursing satisfaction and dressing change pain degree were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and incision healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The number of postoperative dressing changes in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Compared with the pain degree of dressing change, the rate of grade 0 pain in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with traditional surgery+routine nursing, DCSD surgery+comprehensive nursing for patients with redundant prepuce can shorten the operation time and incision healing time, reduce the number of postoperative dressing changes, and reduce the degree of pain during postoperative dressing changes. Meanwhile, patients have higher satisfaction with nursing services after surgery, and with specific application value.
