Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of integrated medical and nursing care on improving the incision aesthetics after cranioplasty for craniocerebral trauma. Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent cranioplasty after craniocerebral trauma in the Department of Neurosurgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, and the experimental group was treated with integrated medical and nursing care. The wound healing time, aesthetics, satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The incision healing time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of aesthetics and satisfaction in the experimental group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 3.33%, which was lower than 13.33 % in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Integrated medical and nursing care can improve the healing and aesthetics of incisions after cranioplasty for craniocerebral trauma, increase patient satisfaction, and reduce the incidence of complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
