Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of holistic nursing measures on patients with eye plastic surgery. Methods From May 2022 to April 2023, 86 patients who underwent eye plastic surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology, the 988th Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing measures, and the study group was given holistic nursing measures. The incidence of complications, treatment time, eye function, eyelid shape, cosmetic effect score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of complications in the study group was 6.98%, which was lower than 25.58% in the control group (P <0.05). The time of swelling regression and suture removal in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of eye function, eyelid shape and cosmetic effect in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the study group was 97.67%, which was higher than 76.74% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of holistic nursing measures for patients undergoing eye plastic surgery is good, which can reduce complications, shorten treatment time, promote rapid postoperative recovery, and improve nursing satisfaction.
