Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of gutta-percha obturation technique in patients with chronic pulpitis. Methods A total of 70 patients with chronic pulpitis admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment, and the observation group received gutta-percha obturation technique. The clinical related indicators, clinical efficacy and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of GI, PD, SBI and IL-1β in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 88.57% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 85.71% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of gutta-percha obturation technique in patients with chronic pulpitis is effective, which can effectively improve the periodontal index of patients, inhibit the inflammatory reaction, and have higher patient satisfaction.
