Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing in patients with ocular plastic surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent eye plastic surgery in our hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given psychological nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The negative emotion, psychological elasticity, hope level and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of HAMA, HAMD and FAVS in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The psychological resilience score of the study group after nursing was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of hope level at 1 h before operation and 7 d after operation in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the study group was 95.00%, which was higher than 77.50% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of psychological nursing in patients with eye plastic surgery is effective, which can effectively alleviate the negative emotions such as anxiety, depression and fear, improve their mental health level. Meanwhile, the patients' satisfaction with nursing work is high, which is worthy of clinical application.
