Abstract:Objective To analyze the value of different oral restoration schemes in dentition defects. Methods A total of 76 patients with dentition defect admitted to Yantai Mountain Hospital of Yantai City from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into conventional group and implant group by random number table method, with 38 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with conventional restoration methods, and the implant group was treated with oral implant restoration methods. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory factor levels, oral function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the implant group was 97.37%, which was higher than 78.95% of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The indexes of CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups after restoration were higher than those before restoration, but those in the implant group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of aesthetics, chewing and language function in the two groups after restoration were higher than those before restoration, and those in the implant group were higher than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the implant group was 2.63%, which was lower than 18.42% in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Oral implant restoration is safe and will not cause severe oral inflammation. Meanwhile, it can quickly restore oral function and improve the effectiveness of dentition defect treatment.
