Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of minocycline combined with red and blue light in the treatment of facial acne. Methods A total of 126 patients with facial acne admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to August 2022 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 63 patients in each group. The control group was treated with oral minocycline capsules, and the observation group was treated with red and blue light on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Minocycline combined with red and blue light has a good clinical effect in the treatment of facial acne, and it is safe and reliable, which is worthy of clinical application.
