Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical treatment effect of 595 nm pulsed dye laser combined with 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops on superficial hemangioma. Methods A total of 140 patients with superficial hemangioma admitted to Qingyang Xichan Guanghua Cosmetic Medical Clinic from March 2020 to March 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 70 patients in each group. The control group was treated with 595 nm pulsed dye laser, and the observation group was treated with 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, lesion thickness changes and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was 97.14%, which was higher than 74.29% in the control group (P<0.05). The lesion thickness of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.72%, which was lower than 21.43% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of 595 nm pulsed dye laser combined with 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops on superficial hemangioma is definite, which can reduce the thickness of the lesion and has good safety.
