Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of laparoscopic surgery in patients with ectopic pregnancy and its effect on the wound aesthetics. Methods A total of 60 patients with ectopic pregnancy who were treated in our hospital from January to November 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to different surgical methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group underwent laparotomy, and the observation group underwent laparoscopic surgery. The pain, scar width and thickness and cosmetic effect of the two groups were compared. Results The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after 3 days of operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of wound in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The width and thickness of scar in the observation group were better than those in the control group at 3 months after operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery for ectopic pregnancy patients can reduce postoperative wound pain, promote wound healing, improve aesthetics, and reduce the width and thickness of scars.
