Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of high quality nursing intervention on wound aesthetics and postoperative infection in parturients undergoing cesarean section. Methods A total of 150 parturients who underwent cesarean section in Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from February to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 75 parturients in each group. The control group received routine perioperative nursing, and the observation group added high quality nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The wound aesthetics, scar width and thickness, and postoperative infection were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of postoperative wound in the observation group was 73.33%, which was higher than 53.33% in the control group (P<0.05). The width and thickness of postoperative scar in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative infection in the observation group was 2.67%, which was lower than 10.67% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion High quality nursing intervention can improve the postoperative infection in parturients undergoing cesarean section, reduce the width and thickness of wound scar, and improve the wound aesthetics.
