Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing on preventing neonatal eczema. Methods A total of 60 newborns with eczema risk admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 newborns in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given high-quality nursing. The incidence of eczema, the time of eczema regression, the negative emotions of children's families and the nursing satisfaction of children's families were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of eczema in the observation group was 20.00%, which was lower than 50.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The regression time of eczema in the observation group was (60.58±10.24)h, which was shorter than (93.62±15.87)h in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the anxiety score and depression score of the family members in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of family members in the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 70.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion High quality nursing is effective in preventing neonatal eczema, which can effectively reduce the incidence of eczema and shorten the time of eczema regression. Meanwhile, it is conducive to alleviating the negative emotions of family members of children and improving their nursing satisfaction.
