Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of digital impression repair in patients with tooth defect. Methods Thirty patients with tooth defect admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 15 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional impression repair, and the study group was treated with digital impression repair. The clinical efficacy, recovery time, satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 93.33%, which was higher than 60.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The recovery time of speech and masticatory function in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the study group was 86.67%, which was higher than 46.67% of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 13.33%, which was lower than 46.67% in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of digital impression repair on patients with tooth defect is good, which can improve the total effective rate of treatment, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, shorten the recovery time of speech and masticatory function, and has high patient satisfaction.
