Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of ceramic laminate veneer and porcelain crown in oral aesthetic restoration. Methods A total of 80 patients with oral aesthetic repair admitted to Kuqa People's Hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to their repair time. The patients who were repaired from June 2020 to May 2021 were set as the reference group, and the patients who were repaired from June 2021 to June 2022 were set as the study group, with 40 patients in each group. Among them, the reference group was repaired with porcelain crown, and the study group was repaired with ceramic laminate veneer. The repair effect, periodontal related index and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The repair effect scores of the study group after 1 month of treatment and half a year of treatment were higher than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the gingival index, gingival sulcus bleeding index and plaque index of the study group were lower than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 2.50%, which was lower than 20.00% in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with porcelain crown restoration, ceramic laminate veneer in oral aesthetic restoration can achieve more ideal restoration effect, which can improve the dental aesthetics, reduce the stimulation of periodontal, and improve the periodontal condition, and the treatment is safer
