Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of calcipotriol ointment combined with halometasone cream in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods A total of 80 patients with psoriasis vulgaris admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with halometasone cream, and the observation group was treated with calcipotriol ointment combined with halometasone cream. The clinical symptom relief time, inflammatory factor level, skin lesion degree, pruritus degree and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The remission time of skin lesions, erythema papules, itching and scales in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α, IL-17 and IL-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the PASI and VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Calcipotriol ointment combined with halometasone cream in patients with psoriasis vulgaris can reduce the level of inflammatory factors, shorten the improvement time of clinical symptoms, improve skin lesions and itching, with high safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
