Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of moist exposed burn ointment in the treatment of burn patients. Methods Forty burn patients admitted to the Eastern Hospital of Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in Hebei Province from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods, with 20 patients in each group. The control group was treated with silver sulfadiazine cream, and the observation group was treated with moist exposed burn ointment. The clinical treatment effect, recovery time, pain degree and scar condition were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 70.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The wound healing time and granulation growth time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS pain scores of the two groups decreased, and that of the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of scar and the severity of scar in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of burn patients with moist exposed burn ointment can improve the clinical efficacy, relieve the degree of pain, shorten the wound healing time and granulation growth time, and reduce the incidence of scars. The efficacy and safety are guaranteed.
