Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of autologous costal cartilage transplantation to construct nasal tip cartilage complex in patients undergoing rhinoplasty. Methods A total of 200 patients who underwent rhinoplasty in Nanchang Nuoyan Aesthetic Medicine Hospital from April 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into experimental group and control group by parity method, with 100 patients in each group. The experimental group used autologous costal cartilage transplantation to construct the nasal tip cartilage complex, and the control group used conventional material complex. The nasal aesthetic angle measurement, patient satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of nasolabial angle, nasofacial angle, and frontal nasal angle in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in nasal dorsum height between the two groups (P>0.05). The scores of nasal shape, nasal height and overall satisfaction in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 3.00%, which was lower than 13.00% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of autologous costal cartilage transplantation to construct nasal tip cartilage complex in rhinoplasty is ideal, which can effectively improve the nasal morphology, with high patient satisfaction and less adverse reactions.
