Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of alveolar ridge preservation and delayed implantation in anterior aesthetic area. Methods Sixty patients who underwent anterior dental implantation surgery in the aesthetic area of our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into immediate implantation group and delayed implantation group, with 30 patients in each group. Immediate implantation group was treated with immediate implantation, and delayed implantation group was treated with alveolar ridge preservation and delayed implantation. The success rate of implantation, aesthetic score and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After half a year of follow-up, the success rate of implantation in the delayed implantation group was 93.33%, which was higher than 66.67% in the immediate implantation group (P<0.05). The aesthetic score of the delayed implantation group was higher than that of the immediate implantation group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the delayed implantation group was 0, which was lower than 13.33% in the immediate implantation group (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of alveolar ridge preservation and delayed implantation in the aesthetic area of anterior teeth is ideal, and the risk of postoperative complications is low, which has certain clinical application value.
