Abstract:Objective To analyze the influencing factors of incontinence dermatitis in patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods A total of 96 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to Weihai Municipal Hospital, Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University from September 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to whether they were complicated with incontinence dermatitis, they were divided into combined group and normal group, with 48 patients in each group. The patients with traumatic brain injury complicated with incontinence dermatitis in the combined group and the patients with simple traumatic brain injury in the normal group were collected. The data of the two groups were collected, and the factors of incontinence dermatitis in patients with traumatic brain injury were analyzed by single factor and multivariate Logistic regression. Results Age≥60 years old, number of antibiotics≥3, diarrhea, diabetes, infection, number of incontinence≥3 times, days of incontinence≥3 days, neurological function score≥12 scores, and hypoproteinemia were the influencing factors of incontinence dermatitis (P<0.05). Conclusion There are many risk factors for brain trauma complicated with incontinence dermatitis. It is necessary to be highly vigilant about this complication and evaluate the risk of incontinence dermatitis in patients with brain trauma as soon as possible.
