Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of oral nursing in implant treatment of patients with chronic periodontitis. Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic periodontitis admitted to Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given oral nursing on the basis of the control group. The oral health behavior, nursing efficacy, periodontal index and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The oral health behavior of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of nursing in the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the periodontal pocket depth, clinical attachment loss, plaque index and bleeding index in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than 84.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the implant treatment of chronic periodontitis, oral nursing can improve the periodontal condition, improve the oral health behavior, and has high satisfaction with nursing, which is worthy of clinical application.
