Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing after operation and suture in patients with ocular trauma. Methods A total of 118 patients with ocular trauma who underwent surgery and suture in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group and experimental group according to the order of medical treatment, with 59 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the experimental group was given comprehensive nursing. The wound aesthetics, complications, psychological state and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of wound aesthetics in the experimental group were better than those in the control group at 1 and 3 months after operation (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 3.39%, which was lower than 13.56% in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of anxiety, depression, anger and loneliness in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was 94.92%, which was higher than 81.36% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Timely comprehensive nursing after operation and suture in patients with ocular trauma has a positive effect on effectively preventing complications such as corneal edema, improving wound aesthetics, improving patients' psychological state and increasing patients' satisfaction.
