Abstract:To explore the application effect of microscrew implant anchorage in orthodontics. Methods A total of 82 patients who underwent orthodontics in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 41 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine treatment, and the experimental group was treated with microscrew implant anchorage. The clinical efficacy, treatment time, lip soft tissue, dentition maxillary index, molar displacement improvement and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 97.56%, which was higher than 75.61% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The treatment time of the experimental group was (5.23±0.76) d, which was shorter than (8.28±2.25) d of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The improvement of lip soft tissue, dentition, maxilla indexes and molar displacement in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 4.88%, which was lower than 21.95% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of microscrew implant anchorage in orthodontics is effective, which can effectively shorten the operation time, prevent various complications, and improve the orthodontic effect and tooth aesthetics.
