To analyze the clinical efficacy of Jinchan Zhiyang capsules combined with cetirizine in treatment of urticaria. Methods A total of 80 patients with urticaria admitted to Wuliqiao Community Health Service Center in Huangpu District of Shanghai from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with single cetirizine, and the observation group was treated with Jinchan Zhiyang capsule combined with cetirizine. The clinical efficacy, recurrence rate and TCM symptom score of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 90.00%, which was higher than 60.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The recurrence rate of urticaria in the observation group was 10.00%, which was lower than 40.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The scores of skin erythema, skin burning, skin itching and other symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of urticaria, Jinchan Zhiyang capsules combined with cetirizine can reduce the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce the recurrence rate, it is more ideal than the clinical efficacy of a single drug treatment regimen and is worthy of clinical application.
