Abstract:To explore the application effect of orthodontics combined with periodontal tissue regeneration in patients with periodontitis. Methods A total of 80 patients with periodontitis admitted to the Shangyuanguan Town Central Health Hospital, Chenggu County from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the different treatment schemes, they were divided into control group and study group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with periodontal tissue regeneration, while the study group was combined with orthodontic treatment. The clinical efficacy, periodontal index, inflammatory factor level, recurrence rate and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, PD, SBI, CAL and PLI in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, TNF-α and CRP in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The recurrence rate of the study group was 2.50%, which was lower than 17.50% of the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion The combined application of periodontal tissue regeneration and orthodontics treatment can effectively improve the periodontal status of patients with periodontitis, inhibit the inflammatory response, reduce the recurrence rate, and improve the treatment effect, which is wort hy of clinical application.
