Abstract:To analyze the clinical efficacy of orthodontic treatment of anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease. Methods A total of 65 patients with anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease in Yueyang Stomatological Hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into reference group (32 patients) and experimental group (33 patients) by drawing lots. The reference group was treated with conventional periodontal treatment, and the experimental group was treated with conventional periodontal treatment combined with orthodontic treatment. The clinical efficacy, periodontal health indicators and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 93.94%, which was higher than 71.88% of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the alveolar bone height, periodontal pocket depth and bleeding rate of probing in the experimental group were lower than those in the reference group, and the occlusal relationship, neat arrangement of teeth and aesthetic score were higher than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The masticatory ability, aesthetic degree, positive feeling and overall health score of the experimental group were higher than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontics can promote the clinical efficacy of patients with anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease, improve their periodontal health, restore occlusal relationship, and improve their quality of life.
