Abstract:To analyze the efficacy of minocycline combined with intensive pulsed light in the treatment of rosacea. Methods A total of 80 patients with rosacea admitted to Yang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2019 to July 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with minocycline alone, and the observation group was combined with intensive pulsed light. The skin lesions and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of telangiectasia, erythema, pruritus and papules in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of physiological field, total subjective feelings of their own quality of life, environmental field, social relationship field, psychological field and total subjective feelings of their own health status in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Minocycline combined with intensive pulsed light is effective in the treatment of rosacea, which can effectively improve the skin lesions of patients and improve their quality of life.
