Abstract:To explore the effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid injection in chin region for lower face rejuvenation. Methods The clinical data of 337 patients who underwent facial rejuvenation treatment in Guizhou Plastic Oral and Cosmetic Surgery Hospital from April 2018 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group (n =168) and observation group (n =169). The control group was treated with hyaluronic acid injection, and the observation group was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid injection. The clinical efficacy, skin status, treatment satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.27%, which was higher than 84.52% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of skin color, texture, pores, wrinkles and grease in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was 96.45%, which was higher than 85.12% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 3.55%, which was compared with 2.38% in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). Conclusion The application of type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid injection in chin region for lower face rejuvenation is ideal, which can effectively improve the skin condition of patients, improve the satisfaction of treatment, and is safe and reliable.
