To explore the application effect of Piminxiao capsules combined with mometasone furoate cream in patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Methods A total of 86 patients with psoriasis vulgaris admitted to Rongcheng County People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mometasone furoate cream, and the study group was treated with Piminxiao capsule combined with mometasone furoate cream. The improvement of psoriasis symptoms, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.35%, which was higher than 74.42% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The PASI scores of the two groups after 3, 5 and 8 weeks of treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the study group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 2.33%, which was lower than 20.93% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Piminxiao capsules combined with mometasone furoate cream is effective in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris, which can effectively improve the skin lesions of patients, reduce the symptoms of psoriasis, and has fewer adverse reactions and higher application safety.
