To analyze the effects of immediate and early implant on the soft tissue around the implant in the anterior teeth aesthetic area. Methods A total of 28 patients with single anterior tooth loss admitted to Pingyi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into reference group and experimental group, with 14 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with early implant, and the experimental group was treated with immediate implant. The soft tissue aesthetic effect, bone resorption level and repair satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the success rate of implantation between the two groups (P >0.05). The PES scores of the experimental group at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months of treatment were higher than those of the reference group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in bone resorption level between the two groups at 1, 3 and 12 months after treatment (P >0.05), but the level of bone resorption in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group after 6 months of treatment (P <0.05). The repair satisfaction of the experimental group was 100.00%, which was higher than 57.14% of the reference group (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with early implant, immediate implant has a good advantage in improving the aesthetic effect of soft tissue around the implant in the anterior teeth aesthetic area. This implantation method has a high success rate and safety, and can effectively reduce the level of early bone resorption after implantation, meanwhile patients are very satisfied with its repair effect.
