Abstract:To analyze the effect of periodontal restoration surgery before oral restoration. Methods A total of 100 patients who received oral restoration treatment in our hospital from January to December 2022 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with periodontal restoration surgery. The clinical efficacy, probing depth (PD), attachment loss (AL), oral function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 60.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the PD and AL of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). The oral function scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Periodontal restoration surgery before oral restoration can obtain the exact therapeutic effect, which can effectively improve the periodontal index and oral function of patients, and is conducive to controlling the incidence of adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical application.
