Abstract:To explore the clinical effect of modified Park method double eyelid surgery on patients with mild blepharoptosis. Methods A total of 52 patients with mild blepharoptosis admitted to Beijing Yuanli Medical Beauty Clinic from January 2018 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 26 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional blepharoptosis correction, and the observation group was treated with modified Park method double eyelid surgery. The palpebral fissure index, double eyelid effect and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The height of palpebral fissure after operation in the two groups was higher than that before operation (P <0.05), and that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The width of eyelid fissure after operation was lower than that before operation in the two groups (P <0.05), and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The scores of double eyelid shape, double eyelid symmetry, eyelid recovery and total score of double eyelid effect after operation in the two groups were higher than those before operation, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.85%, which was lower than 30.77% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Modified Park method of double eyelid surgery can effectively improve the palpebral fissure in patients with mild blepharoptosis, the double eyelid effect is better. Meanwhile, it can reduce the incidence of complications and has higher safety.
