To study the application effect of central sterile supply department participating in the quality management of medical equipment cleaning and packaging in medical cosmetology department. Methods A total of 15 staff members of the central sterile supply department of Mengyin County People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into the basic group (7 staff members) and the research group (8 staff members) according to the random number table method. The basic group took routine management, and the research group took quality management of medical device cleaning and packaging. The quality of sterilization, adverse events and staff satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of equipment disassembly, disinfection quality, cleaning quality and packaging quality in the scientific research group were higher than those in the basic group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the research group was lower than that in the basic group (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of the research group was 100.00 %, which was higher than 57.14% of the basic group (P <0.05). Conclusion Central sterile supply department participating in the quality management of medical equipment cleaning and packaging in medical cosmetology department can improve the quality of disinfection and sterilization, ensure the qualified disinfection of devices and avoid adverse events.
