To explore the effect of high quality nursing based on site- nursing chain linking look-up table during scar plastic surgery after burn. Methods A total of 22 patients who underwent burn scar plastic surgery in the operating room of Mengyin County People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the different admission time, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 11 patients in each group. The control group was given basic nursing, and the observation group was given high quality nursing based on site-nursing chain linking look-up table on the basis of the control group. The psychological resilience, hospitalization time, complications, satisfaction, quality of life and sleep quality were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of tenacity, self-improvement and optimism in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 0, which was lower than 36.36% in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of nursing timeliness, rationality of nursing measures, pertinence of service and effectiveness of outcome in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of sleep time, sleep disorder and sleep time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of high quality nursing based on site- nursing chain linking look-up table during scar plastic surgery after burn can achieve satisfactory results, which is conducive to improving patients' psychological resilience, improving sleep and quality of life, shortening hospitalization time, reducing complications and promoting postoperative rehabilitation.
