Abstract:To explore the aesthetic effect of orthodontic combined with oral implantation therapy in patients with dentition defect. Methods A total of 100 patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received simple oral implantation treatment, while the observation group received orthodontic combined with oral implantation treatment. The clinical efficacy, aesthetic effect, incidence of adverse reactions, implant stability, and tooth function before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 92.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The rate of neat arrangement, good rate of anterior teeth coverage, occlusal comfort rate and good rate of adjacent relationship in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The ISQ score of the observation group were higher than that of the control group at 3 and 6 months after treatment (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of pronunciation function and masticatory function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic combined with oral implantation in the treatment of dentition defect has a good effect, which can effectively improve the patient's tooth aesthetics and the stability of the implant, improve the patient's oral function, and reduce the risk of adverse reactions.
