To explore the clinical effect of telescope crwon combined with precision attachment in the treatment of dentition defect. Methods A total of 80 patients with dentition defect in the Stomatology Department of Xianghe County People's Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into reference group and treatment group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The reference group was given telescopic crown repair treatment, and the treatment group was given telescopic crown combined with precision attachment treatment. The total effective rate, plaque index, periodontal pocket depth, incidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.00%, which was higher than 80.00% of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the plaque index score and periodontal pocket depth of the treatment group were lower than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 5.00%, which was lower than 22.50% in the reference group, and the diff erence was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of the treatment group was 92.50%, which was higher than 75.00% of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The combination of telescopic crown and precision attachment can improve the clinical effect, maintain the periodontal health, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and have high patient satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
