Abstract:To investigate the effect of orthodontic combined with oral restoration in patients with congenital missing teeth. Methods A total of 66 patients with congenital missing teeth admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to May 2022 were randomly divided into reference group and study group, with 33 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with oral restoration, and the study group was treated with orthodontics combined with oral restoration. The masticatory function, language function, bite force, clinical efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of masticatory function, language function and bite force in the study group were higher than those in the reference group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.97%, which was higher than 75.76% in the reference group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 6.06%, which was lower than 27.27% in the reference group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic combined with oral restoration has a good clinical effect in the treatment of congenital missing teeth, which can effectively improve the masticatory function, language function and bite force of patients, and the incidence of complications after repair is lower and the safety is higher.
