Abstract:To compare the effect of orthodontic treatment with bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment and fixed orthodontic treatment. Methods Sixty patients who underwent orthodontic treatment in the Department of Stomatology of our hospital from April 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with fixed orthodontic technique, and the study group was treated with bracketless invisible orthodontic technique. The clinical efficacy, aesthetics and oral function of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 90.00%, which was higher than 86.67% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The excellent and good rate of aesthetics in the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the indexes of ME, SO and MF in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The orthodontic effects of bracketless invisible orthodontics and fixed orthodontics are ideal, but the use of bracketless invisible orthodontics for orthodontics has better tooth aesthetics and is conducive to ensuring the oral function of patients.
