Abstract:To explore the application effect of micro implant anchorage control technology in the orthodontic treatment of children during the mixed dentition period. Methods From February 2018 to February 2023, 88 children with orthodontic correction in the mixed dentition period were selected from the Department of Stomatology, Wuwei Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center. According to different treatment plans, they were divided into control group and study group, with 44 children in each group. The control group was treated with external arch strong anchorage control technology, and the study group was treated with micro implant anchorage control technology. The therapeutic effects, changes of lateral cephalogram indexes, masticatory efficiency, bite force and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.45%, which was higher than 77.27% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, SNA, SNB, ANB, MP, U1/L1, Z angle, OB, OJ and SN in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were better than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The masticatory efficiency and bite force of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 4.55%, which was lower than 20.45% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion The application of micro implant anchorage control technology in orthodontic treatment of children during the mixed dentition period is effective, which can improve masticatory efficiency and bite force, and has fewer complications.
