Abstract:To explore the application effect of anterior wall cartilage resection combined with transfixion suture in the treatment of patients with pseudocyst of auricle. Methods A total of 62 patients with pseudocyst of auricle admitted to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Qingyang People's Hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 31 patients in each group. The control group was treated with anterior wall cartilage resection combined with bandage compression bandaging, and the study group was treated with anterior wall cartilage resection combined with transfixion suture. The clinical indexes, pain, healing days, dressing change times, clinical efficacy, complications and recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of postoperative pain, incision exudation time, auricle swelling time, postoperative cyst disappearance time, hospitalization days, postoperative antibiotic use time, and recovery time of profile appearance to stable state in the study group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The VAS score of the study group at 2,4,12,24 and 48 h after operation was lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The proportion of healing days of 6-7 days and the proportion of dressing change times of 1 time in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the proportion of healing days of more than 7 days and the proportion of dressing change times of more than 3 times were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.77%, which was higher than 77.42% in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 6.45%, which was lower than 25.81% in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion Anterior wall cartilage resection combined with transfixion suture has a good clinical effect in the treatment of patients withpseudocyst of auricle, which can effectively shorten the number of dressing changes and healing days, accelerate postoperative recovery, inhibit pain, and reduce the incidence of complications. The application safety is high.
