Abstract:To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on compliance and psychological status of children with orthodontics. Methods A total of 82 children who received orthodontic treatment in the Department of Stomatology of our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 41 children in each group. The control group was given routine orthodontic nursing intervention, and the observation group was given comprehensive orthodontic nursing intervention. The oral health, compliance and anxiety of the two groups were compared. Results The oral health score of the two groups after nursing was higher than that before nursing, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The compliance rate of the observation group was 97.56%, which was higher than 78.05% of the control group (P <0.05). The CFSS-DS score of the two groups after nursing was lower than that before nursing, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in children with orthodontic treatment can improve the oral health status of children, relieve their anxiety, and improve the compliance level of treatment intervention.
