Abstract:To analyze the effect of outpatient health education on scar recovery after open wound healing in gynecological patients. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent open surgery in our hospital from January to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was given routine outpatient nursing, and the observation group was given outpatient health education on the basis of the control group. The mastery of wound nursing related knowledge, satisfaction, scar score and wound healing were compared between the two groups. Results The knowledge and satisfaction of wound care in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the PSAS score was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The grade A healing rate of the observation group was 84.00%, which was higher than 66.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of outpatient health education can improve the ability of postoperative wound care in patients undergoing gynecological laparotomy, promote wound healing and improve patient satisfaction.
