Abstract:To observe the application effect of OMIDERMTM artificial skin membrane, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel and silicone dressing in the repair of facial burn wounds. Methods A total of 62 patients with facial burns diagnosed and treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research object and were divided into control group (n =31) and observation group (n =31). The control group was treated with conventional oil gauze exposure or semi-exposure. The observation group was treated with OMIDERMTM artificial skin membrane, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel and silicone dressing. The wound rehabilitation index, wound healing time, pain (VAS) score, Vancouver scar (VSS) score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had shorter the disappearance time of blisters, swelling, erythema and exudation than that in the control group (P <0.05). The observation group had lower the wound healing time, VAS score and VSS score were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). In the observation group, the total effective rate of treatment was 96.77%, which was higher than 80.65% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the repair of facial burn wound, the combination of OMIDERMTM artificial skin membrane, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel and silicone dressing can improve the therapeutic effect, reduce clinical symptoms, shorten wound healing time and improve scar index.
