Abstract:To analyze the effect of micro implant anchorage therapy in adole scent orthodontic treatment. Methods A total of 86 adolescent patients who received orthodontic treatment in Jiulong Street Jiulong Health Center of Jiaozhou from January 2019 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional orthodontic treatment, and the observation group was treated with micro implant anchorage. The clinical effects, gingival conditions, masticatory function, correction-related indicators, aesthetics, satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.35%, which was higher than 79.07% of the control group (P <0.05). The PLI, GI, SBI, bite force and chewing efficiency of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). After correction, the difference of inclination angle and convex distance of upper and middle incisors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the anterior displacement value of molars was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of tooth aesthetics and satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.33%, which was lower than 16.28% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For adolescent patients with orthodontics, micro implant anchorage technology can improve the treatment effect, improve the gingival condition, masticatory function and tooth aesthetics of patients, reduce the risk of related complications, and have higher patient satisfaction.
