Abstract:To observe the efficacy of acid complex antibacterial gel combined with glutathione in the treatment of chloasma. Methods A total of 118 patients with chloasma admitted to our hospital from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 59 patients in each group. The control group was treated with glutathione, and the observa tion group was treated with acid complex antibacterial gel combined with glutathione. The clinical efficacy, skin melanin index, erythema index, melasma area and severity index (MASI), physician global assesment (PGA) and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.92%, which was higher than 76.27% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the skin melanin index and erythema index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the MASI score and PGA score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion Acid complex antibacterial gel combined with glutathione can improve the therapeutic effect in patients with chloasma, effectively reduce pigmentation, dilute stains, and will not increase the risk of adverse reactions, with higher application safety.
