To analyze the effect of porcelain laminate veneer and metal porcelain crown on oral aesthetic restoration. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent oral aesthetic restoration in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into reference group (n =50) and observation group (n =50) according to the random number table method. The reference group was treated with metal porcelain crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with porcelain laminate veneer restoration. The restoration effect, periodontal health status and aesthetic effect satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The restoration effect score of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group after 3, 6 and 12 months of restoration, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). PD, BI and AL in the observation group were better than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The aesthetic effect satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Porcelain laminate veneer is effective in oral aesthetic restoration, which can improve the periodontal health of patients and has good aesthetic effect.
