Abstract:To study the application effect of light-cured composite resin in oral aesthetic restoration. Methods Ninety patients with oral aesthetic restoration admitted to our hospital from February to September 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with nano-composite resin repair, and the observation group was treated with light-cured composite resin repair. The repair satisfaction, repair index, plaque index, gingival index, tooth mobility and tooth aesthetics scores were compared between the two groups. Results The repair satisfaction of the observation group was 97.78%, which was higher than 84.44% of the control group (P <0.05). The degree of bleeding, periodontal pocket depth, alveolar height, anterior teeth coverage, plaque index, gingival index and tooth mobility in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of each dimension of tooth aesthetics in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of light-cured composite resin in clinical oral aesthetic restoration can further improve its repair effect and satisfaction, improve oral function, and is worthy of clinical application.
