Abstract:To investigate the effect of different tooth preparation methods on bonding strength during porcelain restoration of anterior tooth edge defect. Methods A total of 60 patients with anterior tooth edge defect were selected from the Department of Stomatology, Xinjiekou Community Health Service Center, Xicheng District, Beijing from January 2018 to December 2019. They were randomly divided into control group and study group by computer table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was prepared with conventional teeth, while the study group was prepared with all-ceramic crowns. The oral conditions, restoration effects, satisfaction and complications of the two groups were analyzed. Results The total effective rate of restoration in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The GCF index in the study group was higher than that in the control group, while the PD and GI indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 76.67% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 10.00%, which was lower than 33.33% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion All-ceramic crown tooth preparation for anterior tooth edge defect porcelain repair effect is exact, which can effectively improve the patient's anterior tooth defect, improve the bonding strength of the tooth, reduce the adjacent tooth caries, shedding, etc., to ensure the patient's oral health and improve satisfaction.
