Abstract:To study the antioxidant properties of the active ingredients of prebiotics-lactic acid bacteria fermentation, and analyze its effect on skin care. Methods Staphylococcus epidermoides (SE) and lactobacillus plantarum (PC) were fermented by traditional microbial fermentation method to obtain the active ingredients. Then, antioxidant detection, hydroxyl radical scavenging and superoxide anion scavenging of 1, 1-diphenyl-2-tritrophenylhydrazine (DPPH) were used to detect the antioxidant roperties of the active ingredients. Results The content of active ingredients in the two fermentation solutions increased differently under the influence of different concentrations of prebiotics. The optimal concentration of fructooligosaccharides prebiotics for SE growth was 0.5%, and that for PC growth was 1.5%. Conclusion The hydroxyl radical scavenging effect of PC cultured at 2.5% concentration of fructooligosaccharide is the best, and for SE, the optimal concentration of fructooligosaccharide affecting the antioxidant performance is between 1.5% and 2.5%. At this concentration, more efficient active ingredients of prebioticslactobacillus fermentation for skin care can be obtained.
